Ken Robinson has over 32 years of experience, and began appraising in 1982 as a trainee with his father, a well-known appraiser in the Baltimore area. Ken was placed on the FHA FEE panel in1984, and was one of only 60 appraisers on the panel.

As an FHA appraiser, Ken became fluent at the various FHA rules, outlines, and the 4150.2 FHA regulating handbook. In October of 1991, he was within the first one hundred appraisers to obtain a Maryland Certified Residential Real Estate license. Soon after, Robinson Appraisal Group, LLC was established. Robinson Appraisal Group was contracted by FHA in 2000 to review many of the appraisals involved in the Flipping Scandal of the late 1990’s. That same year, the local FHA field office established a list of appraisers and the volume of assignments completed over a five year time period. Robinson Appraisal Group completed nearly 1500 appraisal assignments, while their busiest competitor completed only around 350.
